RE: Here

Hi, It's an old tread I read a while ago because the sentry III cabinet is actually having one main challenge: the double tuned ports. Sizes, lenght, version 1,2, contradictions of the original* exacts sizes, variations of the lenght of each port sides, etc. And after reading on this issue, I realized on most of the sentry III pictures, the square holes are ducts less, we can see the side and bottom of the cabinet.... !!! Excuse my english.

If I could make a certitude on the "lenght"(depth) of the 8 sides of the ports* (with or without the thickness of the front panel (thanks to mention)) that could be one great info for the realisation of this beauty.

You know something like from #1 port (upper one) and side #1 witch is at 12 o'clock and so on 'till bottom #2 port at 9 o'clock (side 8).

This is important for me to respect the engineering of electro voice. I do this project not to copy heart less somebody, because I would just make two 3" round ports tuned with the box and woofer with impedance sweep and free enclosure software. I want to reproduce these Sentry III in honor of electro voice

*not a copy enclosure

Thanks for your precious and precise help,

Simon
