Removed the Plate Amp. Plate Amp is a Sunfire, great build. One of the 3 fuses was blown. Replaced it. Very large hum when I turned it back on, and it is now dead again :( If I take it to a repair shop that is probably $200 if they can fix it. $300 for a new Plate Amp - that won't be a direct bolt up. Or just a new REL sub. I'm in no hurry to solve my problem. Just wish I didn't have my audio system on when the Lightening Strike occurred. Lesson learned, turn everything OFF when a severe thunderstorm rolls in. Insurance is not going to cover all of the repair bills, but it will help.
