RE: Dunlavy Speakers

Others here may have direct experience with those two models but having heard most of the DAL lineup I can suggest the larger the model the more extended the low end response, But as the size of the model increases so should the room size for matching. All Duntech and DAL models should be placed away from front and sidewalls for best performance, with the exception of an early Duntech model designed to be hung on the wall. Also, the larger model will likely require more power.

And I assume that was a typo on the model designation which should be "IV A".

John Dunlavy was a superior designer. I owned a pair of Duntech Princesses for 19 years. They were the earlier sibling to the IV and IV A and made in Australia while John worked there.
