Given you have said;I have not listened to these ProAcs for 10+ years.
Why stress over if something is wrong? You don't hear any distortion, tonal balance is fine and you haven't listened to them over ten years.
If you want to be sure, buy two new tweeters, heck, buy two new speakers.
Other than a little bit of cosmetic wear on an old speaker I'm not sure what the problem is?
