Thanks for clarifying things a bit, but I doubt that you'll find many suitable options (efficient, but capable of producing sufficient bass in the stock enclosures).

I'd consider selling your current speakers and looking for a true high-efficiency design elsewhere. You say that you cannot hear above 3 khz and most 2-way designs cross over between 2000 and 3000 khz, so an efficient single-driver speaker might work out just fine for you.
