A friend of mine who carries KEF had a customer bring in a Cary sly-80 integrated to audition with a set of LS50's. My friend liked the combo so much he is now a Cary dealer. Seems the two brands have good synergy, a particular presentation, but quite appealing to the listeners who lean that way. He is currently has the LS50's set up with a Cary power amp driven direct by a Cary DAC. I can't remember the amp's model, it's like 80 to 100 watts ultralinear switchable to 30 watts triode.
