I know you won't respond - you don't participate in these things - but I was (almost) horrified to see a man with your experience using SoundLab speakers as your reference.

Stats were always good - but they seem to be a little worn-out. Maybe the latest 'Labs' will prove me wrong -

HP was probably too hard when he said (stats) have "skeletal sound", a few years ago, during a RMAF seminar.

But even long-term 'stat' guys like Paul Seydor are open-minded about the latest Harbeths and Emerald Physics - giving them high praise.

But there's also ATC SCM-19 and Devore-Orangutan - two systems I wish you would review.
