I don't have the R610 standmounts, but I do have the R620s, which are the next step up in the product line. I purchased them right after hearing the Ryan Speakers at RMAF 2014. They're absolutely superb. The vocal presentation is very natural. There's a transparent quality to the presentation that was absent in my previous speakers, at least to this degree. The sound is very balanced. There's no listener fatigue. What surprised me was how well they do imaging. That may have something to do with the felt treatment around the tweeter. I don't know. I just know it works, whatever it is. There are many nights when it's tough to shut down the system. I just want to keep listening.
The Ryan brothers have a winner here. They were an absolute delight as hosts at RMAF 2014. If you get a chance to hear their speakers I think it might well be worth the time.
