In-ceiling speakers

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

Looking at two options:

New Paradigm Pro series vs. B&W
In both cases, looking around 6"
These are for background listening in kitchen, eat-in area, dining, master. The den and living already have their own speaker solutions.

Any thoughts? My local store here hates the B&Ws, I think B&W makes really good smaller speakers (I love their MM1 computer speakers) but have also heard that the bassy sound gets annoying over time.

Budget about $300/speaker MAX and would prefer to spend less if there are any creative ideas. Have a total of 8 speakers, plus will need two outdoor speakers for mid sized yard.

Open to suggestions
