RE: Real challenge to find 4 ohm, optimized for sealed and quality of the orig SEAS driver.

Thank you for the information. For grins I picked up a lightly used pair of 4 ohm Goldwoods from a local guy for $25 and put them in. The speakers sound great now. I also changed the leads inside my Rogue Audio Cronos to 4 ohms versus the factory 8 ohms and the speakers really do sound good. I suspect that I will update some of the 27 year old caps in the crossover and contemplate whether I need to replace the woofer with anything better. Porting the box is still an option as well. If I do that, I will most likely go with a 4 ohm scanspeak that seems to be readily available from both Madisound and Parts-Express.
