I'm using this amp to power a pair of Polk R300's, which have nearly the same sensitivity (89 db vs the R50's 90 db). The combination sounds surprisingly good, a fellow audiophile friend was also impressed with the sound.
My Sony TV has an optical digital audio output, whci I run to a Schitt Bifrost dac, which then drives the Nuforce amp's analog inputs.
