They're all plastic crap that looks like knockoffs of the cutesy little Bose cubes and an unpowered sub knock off of the Bose sub. I've read online that some of the brands have concrete poured into the backs of the speakers to provide "heft" that at least hints at quality.

I saw a pair of Dahlton towers at Salv Army a few weeks ago. Went back today and they haven't sold at the asking price of $49.99. Unbelievably cheap fit and finish. On the negative side, the Vanderbach 5.1 home theater system was gone. Maybe someone gutted the "speakers" and are using them as planters?
