They look really nice.
Yes you are right. There is a lot of digital in this system.
But the reviews of the time were very positive.
With digital i think it is possible to get extremely precise frequency cuts and very precise flattening of the response.
It is possible to use a driver at its best and cure its irregularities.
Just think how it would be difficult to do this "analogically".
