Home Speaker Asylum

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

Can think of quite a few reasons.

Firstly? They're pretty darn large systems - maybe they don't fit well in a new room?

How about woofer foam rot? Those Beta columns would take quite a bit of time & effort to repair when needed.

Again for the Beta? The EMIM midranges could be quite fussy.

Last reason? How about audiophilia nervosa? :)
