Here it is: cut off all the push-on connectors, stip, tin, and solder then straight to the drivers.
Bob Crites loves my mod, because most people can't solder and have to buy new diaphragms from him.
You can put some better caps in the horn filters in the networks, but the soldering makes a HUGE difference in the sound, more than the caps do.
Do the woofers first, they're easy. Then the mids, save the tweeters for last.
The problem on the mids and tweets is the terminal you will be soldering to is staked in a plastic that will melt if you use too much heat.
