I've heard examples of both KEF and Joseph Audio loudspeakers including the Blades (KEF) and Pulsars and Perspectives (Joseph Audio). I preferred the KEFs as I found the Joseph Audios a bit forward in the upper mids.

However, as others have stated, you may want to check out Vivid Audio. Those speakers really sound good. I prefer them to both KEF and Joseph Audio.

Of course, you need to hear these in person and decide for yourself. What I (and others) find delightful you may find a downer.
