I can speak to the Dayton B652 only-
I have a pair that I have used in an office setting for the past 3 years-
Powered by an older Nak Receiver, a Linn Klassic and a Music Reference RM-10.
Source is my computer - iTunes(r) through the laptop (all media stored/playback at RedBook CD 16 bit 44.2Khz.)
The Daytons have continued to impress me with the quality of musical reproduction they are delivering. The bass is QUITE respectable, and the treble does not have any glare or shrill-ness.
I listen to a wide variety of music - though mostly a low to moderate volume levels - I have filled the room, and never been let down.
For ~$50.00 - what is there not to like-
(I actually purchased 3 pair - on for my office and the others for my children...)
Happy listening
