FWIW, I have a friend who has used various tube amps with his Totem Model 1's for years. Heard the Model 1's at a Stereophile show years ago demoed with an Audioprism EL 34 based amp......sounded wonderful. Lots of options in tube integrateds these days that will give you both the warmth and bass control you desire.
