Further to my earlier message today, I am just leaving for somewhere where I am unlikely to be able to access the internet so, until I return to civilisation in a few days time:
1. Further research produced a lot of references to these speakers needing space. 1M behind and 1M from side walls is recommended. Try moving your speakers away from the side walls a few centimetres at a time until the bass improves (I hope).
2. Although the speakers are rated as 4 ohm devices , try the 8 ohm outputs on your amp to see if that tightens the bass.
