RE: Need help replacing 15" subwoofer in Optimus 1000

If these can be repaired, that would be my preference. The Woofer works until the watts hits them hard and then it stutters.

I refoamed them about 8-9 years ago. They still look to be in good condition.

My method of checking the crossovers was to switch the woofers from cabinet to the other and the same Woofer still does it in the other cabinet.

I have not checked the flex lead but I will. I have not replaced the capacitors.

I have a Fluke meter and a soldering iron so I should possess the skills to repair it if it's possible.
