RE: Loudspeakers in rooms - not flat, but how bad ?

It can be terrible! I have a 70-80Hz peak in my room that's tough to position around.

Measurements are best done outside, or in a very controlled space. If you move a speaker 1 foot to the left when measuring on a football field (without changing directivity), your measurements should stay stable.
