I've never heard the Lore Monitors, but they seem to be a "bookshelf" version of the M-Lores - very similar (if not the same) drivers in a smaller cabinet, but the M-Lores go deeper.

As Mick said, go for the M-Lores if you can make room for them. I have the M-Lores and consider them the best value in speakers today.
