Heard it once in KC and again in the Magnepan Production office...both times the DWM bass panel felt very disconnected from the satellite monitors...
In the Magnepan production office the DWM was under the desk and just BOOMED...Maggies are soooo dependent on set-up and room, these would take allot of fiddling around to get it right...
There is a current thread on the Planar Asylum talking about the Mini's in an HT set-up...
The MG 12's and the Super MMG's are a much better choice IMHO...but Mike K is right, they will require much more power than your 22 watt Sherwood...but the juice is worth the squeeze, with enough good watts...
I am a Maggie guy and I really wanted to like the Mini's, but my first two impressions were not stellar...you can hear the potential...
If you want to stay with the Sherwood, the Zu Cube is super high efficiency and a great value...old school single driver sound...their new driver is a big improvement...
