Well, I sent him a RTA of the speakers and he thought there might be a problem with these crossovers. It almost sounded like he knew it was possible that a wrong resistor might be in there. He needs a picture to be sure which I'm going to try to get today. I'm overall very happy with the rich sound and the tight tuneful bass but compared to my Snell E-IIs they seem a little rolled off to me. My audiophile friers say they don't notice it but the graph bears out my impressions. I have to say Mr Lee was more than helpful when contacted especially considering these are second hand speakers. I may see about those waveguides in that article. I'll share further details as I get them.

What was your experience? I'm curious as it seems you might have had similar impressions.
