I recently purchased a set of Acoustic Zen Adagios on the used market. While overall very happy with them the treble is slightly muted compared to my Snell EIIIs. I contacted the designer and he suggested some minor surgery on the crossover. As the RTA graphs demonstrate this decrease in treble output. This entails removing the lower driver and getting to the crossover. Anyone has any experience doing this? I'm sure I can handle the task itself but I'm seeing if there is any experience out there first. Above is a graph of the issue. The other possibility might be to figure out how to reduce the slight peaks at 40Hz, 200Hz, and 1.7kHz.Thanks in advance!
Dave
