I had a room with two other companies (Dr. Feickert and Ikon Audio) and we each paid about $1000. I didn't have much else in the way of expenses but let's call it $1200 total costs. Not too bad if you get a few sales out of it. So, while you have theoretical knowledge, and if you have to fly and bring heavy stuff you are not too far off perhaps, it is not always true and for European companies to come to Munich it is mainly the cost of a room and hotel/food costs.
