In my recent search for speakers that took over a year and three audio shows, both of these speakers were on our short list. We ended up getting Nola Boxers for a variety of reasons, but the WAF was not an insignificant reason. In the end, I thought the Kefs were amazing and in a smaller room, I might have gone with those. I also really liked the Excites but I couldn't get a second listen when the choices narrowed down. Tough choice in the $1,500 range. A speaker that I didn't get to hear at all but was interested in was the low end Audio Note speaker (about $1,200).As you've probably heard before, listening to the speakers in your own room is THE most significant strategy for making a decision you can live with.
