In general doubling the volume will lower the system resonance and lower the Qtc, which will give tighter bass, and decrease efficiency and power handling. But without Thiel/Small it's crap shoot. For instance you could end up with too low Qtc which would actually make the speaker sound bass shy even with the lower system resonance. Why not write to KEF for the parameters. Closed box design is relatively simple with correct Thiel/Small and a book like Vance Dickason's.
