I think you will like them. My review is coming soon and should be up. For the money they are some of the best around. I recently reviewed the Audio Note AX Two and compared them directly to the KEF LS-50.

You can place the KEF fairly near the rear walls - 1 foot. Play around with the toe in and you should get good results.
