First, I would say that in my opinion, these speakers do not need a subwoofer. Going down to 30Hz is plenty for me. I can't really see how anyone would need more.
The Sansui is, unfortunately, only seldomly used as a tuner. It was my father's amp and it provides me a lot of nostalgic value, as my father passed away 3 years ago. Once I'm able to buy a house, I'll be sure to set up an additional system, separate from my main rig, which can showcase the Sansui.
As for the first track I played. It was side 2 of Wilco's self-titled album. As for what came after, there's too many to remember,
