RE: KLH 23's

I have a pair that are in very good cosmetic and operational condition.

In order to get the best out of them you will most definitely have to replace the old caps with new polypropylene ones, as well as re-seal the surrounds on the woofers.

Re-sealing the surrounds is a simple affair; Go to Walmart and get a tube of 100% silicone tub and tile sealant (GE brand) and apply a thin bead to the inner and outer side of the cloth surround. You will then want to work the sealant into the cloth with your finger. The whole process should take no longer than 20 minutes.

I ran mine with a variety of amps, but they responded best to tubes.
There is a mod you should do if you intend to run them with SS gear but I cannot remember it now.

Bold Eagle (Jerry) is the resident expert on things KLH, perhaps he will chime in.

Pictured are my KLH 17's and 23's.
