Home Speaker Asylum

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

RE: : answer ?

It's hard to say what the answer might be at this point in time. If you are absolutely sure that the speakers can go nowhere else in the room then I would suggest that you continue furnishing the room in the "normal" fashion, and as quickly as possible.

It sounds as if the importance of speakers is subordinate to the importance of home furnishings in this case. You won't know how good or bad the speakers can sound until you finish crowding in all of the other furnishings. You might even get lucky and find out that the system sounds better with all sorts of junk thrown around it.
