RE: Sanity of the active speaker approach


Hi and thanks for the interesting information
I like the solutions like the one depicted down in the page
With the bass in a cabinet separated by the mid-high section.
It is also easier to move.
Actually it is what i am really thinking.
A D'Appolito satellite + powerede woofer with active x-over
I have just to decide which part of the range send to the satellite
A small woofers one cannot take low frequencies without distorting the signal.
