The Proac Tablette Reference 8 Signatures are used as studio monitors by some engineers. They are that good. Adam speakers are great and have heard the P22A's many times. The S series are considered too "hot" sounding for home use and some of the newer Adams are also considered to be that way as well so you really need to hear them for yourself since they are so very revealing. Personally, I would stay with what you have since you'll probably end up making a lateral move. Studio monitors vary so much in size and purpose. Keith Jarrett uses Eidolon Diamonds from Avalon Acoustics which are quite large as are Focal Grand Utopias used by Paul Stubblebine in his mastering studio...not one size fits all.
