RE: Swan Diva 6.1s- too much bass

I would start by stuffing the ports to varying degrees as you already alluded to. You could even lightly fill the ports with poly fill.

As always, fine tuning is a personal preference - what sounds right is right.

I have seen in the past "vari- ports". These allow one of open and close the ports incrementally.

I think a lot of speakers are bass heavy as they are set up to wow the customer in a 15 minute store audition.
