RE: Isoacoustics speaker stands

I'm using a pair of the #ISO-L8R155 for my KEF LS50s. The regular pedestal stands I had on hand are 24" high, but my listening position requires something higher (rolling office chair on a raised platform chair mat). Using the Iso stand (on top of the pedestal) with the short tubes, and the long extension nipples in the front, and the short extension nipples in the rear, tilts and aims the speaker perfectly at my ears.

Only had the KEFs for almost a month, and still breaking them in, but so far prefer aiming them directly at the listening position as above.

I have the rubber "dot" feet that came with the speakers lined up so that they fit perfectly into the Iso's top rubber mounts, which is kinda of a shallow cup. Keeps the speaker from shifting on the stand. But the rubber on the Isos are pretty resistant as is.

The Isos are built OK, the tubes are metal, but the top and bottom pieces are plastic, with rubber insert holes for the tubes. Maybe a little expensive for what one gets. Looks like plain ole rubber cup/feet on tops and bottom, nothing exotic (but I could be wrong). They are great for what I needed them for, not a sonic improvement per say, but just to make my existing stands work.

If you are not sure what size you need, email your speaker's dimensions, weight, etc. to Isoacoustics and they will help you out.
