There was no US distributor in the late 90's, I had bought the last two pair of P3's from the old distributor, and I talked Alastair into shipping me a pair of C7's. It worked out. They arrived, I liked them, and he started selling them into the overseas market, and continued until the new distributor set up a dealer network. So shipping one pair in two boxes is not a problem at all, from my perspective.
