If you can't find drivers, toss them. They were "peanuts" for a reason.
When you're talking speakers that are 20 - 30 years old that are broken down, the best advice is "leave it for someone else to buy for $5".
If the guys here want to invest dozens of manhours researching "pseudo replacement" drivers (based on what only God knows) then they can. But I think they're steering you wrong.
People often think "Hey, I can get these speakers for $5 and get some replacement woofers for $5 each and have great sound for next to nothing!" Yeah, I moreso like to try and correct this line of thinking. 1 in 1000 dumpster dives are this 'rare exception' that are worth fixing.
Sorry, just trying to keep it real.
Save your money and save your time and get something used that a) works that b) sounds good to you.
How do you know these will even sound good at all?
