Yes, I own a pair and the bass is superb when setup correctly. THey can be overwhelming if setup incorrectly (a bit like setting up a subwoofer). They will do clean deep tight accurate bass as good or better than any servo sub on the market.

A Genesis V should be even more potent but in a normal sized room I don't see an advantage there between the V and VI. One advantage is with the power amp, the V has phase adjustment as well.
