A of Dunlavy SC-IV for sale but not SC-IV/A

I am trying to buy a pair of Dunlavy SC-IV/A but all I have seen for sale are the SC-IV or the SC-IV Signature and not the SC-IV/A.

Are the SC-IV/A really that good that the owners just wanted to keep them for life? :)

Can anybody give me your opinions on the sound difference if you have experiences on both modals?
