How many have you tried? From perspective, the only thing that would qualify as any kind of belief would be for you to try various cables in your system and report on the findings. Even if you are not preped to buy $500+ cables one can start with various gauges of zip cord over TIME and see if any appreciable differences are heard that lead you to one gauge or another..In your system. It has been said that moving to another chair may make more difference but a lot of things have been said and will be said. For you to know for sure..give it a try and share your findings.
T-bytes of information to various degrees have been written on line of the subject.
Anybody can write anything on line posing as fact..even subjectivity is considered fact if enough people say the same things over and over--and it becomes (a hum..) 'true' to a community..(and sometimes to the point where suggestion alone can make the listener more emotionally attached to the music)
