I do not know exactly what is in the TLS 50s but Peerless lists the closed back unit as the KO40MRF and the open back unit as KU45MR. The specs are somewhat different including a larger magnet, higher sensitivity, higher power handling and wider bandwidth for the former.

That said, it may work.
