Thanks Kal. Unfortunately, there is no difference in sound between the large and small settings, to my ear. My speakers are large a/d/s L810s and do handle low frequencies well, so I use the large setting.

I'm also confused about setting the sub level (gain, volume?) on the Parasound. I have it set at 10, which is the highest setting.
