I have access to a anechoic chamber for driver testing or for smaller loudspeakers. Its only used for transducer or loudspeaker testing. Its more affordable and easier then back in the day with computers all you need is quality software microphones a oscilloscope scope, knowledge of how to use it and what the results truly mean. What is available to DIY for testing today boggles the mind. I for one do not know of anyone offering loudspeakers without some form of testing, sure they exist but I do not think its common to not objectively test ones designs, networks, cabinets or transducers. And the most important tests of all the listening tests. For no matter how well loudspeakers measure they still need to sound good on music etc.
