These speakers...

...require a lot of power to come alive, somewhat like the older DQ-10s.

I'd say below 100 watts/channel, their dynamics and bass will be compromised.

High current will work best, but it's not likely you'll get that from a reciever.

When I reviewed them back in the early 1990s, I used a pair of BEL 1001Mk2 amps (200w/ch) because they didn't sound as good with the other amps I had around.

Buy a good reciever you like and then if the speakers don't work well with it, you can always get new speakers, given what you paid for these.
