One of the most natural sounding speakers ever made. They don't have booming bass, sizzling highs, and they won't beat you into submission with volume, but for what they do well, they are hard to beat. You got an incredible bargain! Right now, there are three Spendor SP1/2R speakers, a successor model, selling in the UK on eBay for between $3200 and $3900 a pair! If for some reason you don't like them, you can sell them on eBay for a LOT more than you paid for them.
