Nice looking box. I like the wood grain. Mine are just painted with black hammertone paint. That looks nice too. The cream banana pulp cones stand out against the black.

I find the Fostex goes high enough on it's own for my ears, so no super tweeter.

Interesting what you say about placement. Not really easy for me to try - as mine are sitting on a custom furniture unit. Still, very happy with the quality of the bass I am getting.
