The TV stands are a great idea - stable, inexpensive, easy to adjust toe-in, and easy to decouple the speakers from. And I can return them when I am finished.

Great job on the DIY stands. Not a bad idea when it comes to cost savings and customization. I will keep that idea in mind when it comes time to set them up permanently.
