Just to clarify, what is your criteria for full range extension? I'm assuming you're referring to the bass register. Are you talking 40hz, 30, or 20?
Also, I've heard that some folks actually prefer integrating a sub with satellites so as to have more control over the bass.
I've only heard Vandersteens twice, and thought they sounded very good indeed, but there may be more criteria involved in people's choices than full range and price. Quality is subjective of course.
