I experimented with bi-wiring my 40's with the Chris VH cat-5's from an Adcom 545 amp and they've stayed that way. I hear (or, to satisfy the anti-biwire crowd, at least I think I hear) a slight difference in the upper mids and highs. Just a wee bit cleaner. Since the cables are relatively cheap, it was a no-brainer for me. I've tried vertical bi-amping them as well which adds better dynamics, possibly in part from doubling the power.
